And yes, the name does them justice. To really understand why they are called El Cucuy Boxing Gloves, you should get punched in the head with them. You will avoid the second one at all costs.
They are made of premium cowhide, following a purely Mexican model, and have a mix of foam and horsehair inside.
They have two layers inside, which makes the glove quite hard to hit.
The closure is laced and once tied, the gloves go all the way up the forearm securing the wrist very well.
The fit on the hand is impeccable and once on the hand they will take the shape of the fist helping the fist to be perfectly closed and in the correct position during punching.
It is recommended to use them together with protective bandages.
